Growth

Forward-looking finance for bigger decisions.

Everything in Core, plus forward-looking FP&A and banking support, for businesses making bigger calls on capex, pricing, hiring and growth.

Monthly retainer Priced to your scope, plus GST

Is this the right fit?

A good fit if

  • You are planning capex, a new product line, a new plant or a new market.
  • Raw material or input costs move fast and pricing decisions carry real risk.
  • Your bank limits are up for renewal or enhancement, or you are considering a term loan.
  • You are hiring ahead of growth and need to know what the business can carry.
  • Year-end audit takes too long and consumes too much of your team's time.

Not the right fit if

  • You don't yet have reliable monthly numbers. Build that first with Core .
  • You need a one-time transaction, such as an equity raise or an acquisition. That is project work , and can run alongside Growth.

What's included

Everything in Core, plus the planning and external coordination a growing business needs.

Budgeting

An annual budget built bottom-up with your team, by product line, cost centre or location as your business requires.

Forecasting

A rolling forecast refreshed [quarterly] , so decisions are made against the latest expected outcome, not a budget set months ago.

Budget vs. actuals with commentary

A monthly variance review that explains what drove each material difference and what, if anything, needs to change.

Decision support

Financial evaluation of the bigger calls: capex, pricing changes, new lines, hiring plans and make-or-buy decisions.

Banker coordination

Preparation and review of what lenders ask for, including projections, CMA data, stock statements and renewal or enhancement proposals, and attendance at key lender meetings.

Auditor coordination

Audit schedules prepared, queries tracked and closed, and timelines managed so the audit runs on your calendar.

The annual cycle

Growth runs on two rhythms: the monthly cycle from Core, and an annual planning cycle on top.

  1. Budget season

The annual budget is built and agreed before the year starts.

  2. Monthly budget vs. actuals

Each month's MIS includes variance commentary against budget.

  3. Quarterly reforecast

The forecast is refreshed [quarterly] and decisions are revisited against it.

  4. Year-end and audit

Audit schedules and auditor queries are managed through to sign-off by your auditor.

  5. Bank renewal

Lender information is prepared and renewal or enhancement is coordinated.

What we need from you

  • Everything required for Core
  • Involvement of your functional heads in budgeting
  • Introductions to your bankers and statutory auditors
  • Visibility of planned decisions early enough to evaluate them

Common questions

Can you guarantee a loan sanction or limit enhancement?

No. Sanction is the lender's credit decision. What we do is make sure the information lenders see is accurate, complete and presented well, which removes avoidable delays and objections.

How is banker coordination in Growth different from Fundraising in project work?

Growth covers the ongoing banking relationship: renewals, reviews and routine lender requirements. A discrete transaction, such as a new term loan for a plant or an equity round, is scoped separately as a project.

Do you replace our statutory auditor?

No. Your statutory auditor remains independent. We prepare the business for the audit and manage the process on your side.

Who owns the budget?

The business does. We build it with your functional heads so the targets are theirs, and we hold the variance review against it each month.

Facing a specific transaction?

A raise, a system change or a deal can be handled as focused project work, alone or alongside Growth.
